Playing Crystal Clues

Crystal Clues is provided for personal entertainment. Game availability, clues, rewards, balance rules, and online features may change to improve fairness, safety, reliability, or legal compliance.

Do not interfere with the app, submit forged gameplay, exploit bugs, automate play, evade cooldowns, attack the service, or try to access another player's account, wallet, or private records. Competitive Global Scores may be corrected or removed when activity cannot be verified as normal play.

Global Scores

Global Scores use a public first name, nickname, or generated alias. A player-selected public name is user-generated content visible to other players. Do not publish private information or a name that is hateful, sexual, threatening, deceptive, harassing, or impersonates another person or Crystal Clues staff.

Players can report and hide public names. Reported names may be reset. Serious or repeated abuse, cheating, or attempts to bypass moderation may result in suspension from Global Scores. Reports must be made honestly and only for safety or policy concerns.

The Global Scores rules are part of these overall Terms of Use. Choosing and submitting a public name makes that name visible to other players and subjects it to the safety and moderation rules above; there is no separate Global Scores terms step.

Letter Credits

Letter Credits are optional consumable digital items. When checkout is available, product letter_pack_4 grants four credits at the localized price shown by the Apple App Store or Google Play for the player's platform. New checkout may be disabled while safety or release verification is in progress; existing balance, synchronization, recovery, refund, and revocation handling may remain available. Each paid credit reveals one answer letter in Campaign. A campaign that uses a paid Letter is permanently marked Assisted, remains ranked in Global Scores, and displays * beside its score.

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and RevenueCat. Delivery can be delayed by store or network processing. Use Sync Purchases before buying again if a completed order is missing. Refunds and revocations may remove remaining credits from that transaction. If refunded credits were already spent or account records conflict, paid-credit use may pause for review. Wallet balances never become negative.

The private recovery key can recover unused paid credits after reinstalling or changing devices. Anyone with the complete key may be able to claim that wallet, so keep it private. Delete All permanently removes the recoverable wallet link and unused balance. On iOS, uninstalling alone may leave a Keychain-backed recovery key available to a later reinstall and is not a substitute for Delete All. Detached transaction facts may remain where needed to prevent duplicate grants, handle refunds, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.

Apple's or Google Play's purchase, cancellation, and refund terms also apply to the corresponding platform. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Availability And Changes

Online features depend on device integrity services, internet access, and third-party providers. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect progress and paid balances, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Important changes will be reflected in the app, privacy policy, store listing, or these terms as appropriate.

Privacy And Deletion

The Crystal Clues Privacy Policy explains the app's data practices. Settings > Delete All requests deletion of the anonymous Crystal Clues account and its linked game data before local records are cleared. Players can also use the external data-deletion page.
